I have never been but I heard Helen GA is really nice, It's on my list of places to go.

Helen, Georgia | Helen - White County Convention & Visitors Bureau

My wife wants to go to Chattanooga, it's close enough to be a day trip for us.

You can visit Helen from here easily. There are several waterfalls, scenic hikes and lots of beautiful drives all around where I live.

Tons of fun things for the whole family

Mom's cabins are Home Page - tell her I said to ask for the Family and Friends discount.

All I do is work on 7.3 PSD's. I've got a couple high budget builds here right now that are going to Hawaii. You're welcome to visit anytime - but I might put ya to work as busy as I am right now!!

There's a few 7.3 guys near us and Scott Dove has mentioned having a GTG at his place in Ellijay a few times. I'm always open to a GTG. We can meet at the lake in a campground and chill or use my property and do projects/maintenance. Both Scott and I have room for working on trucks as well as space for tents and campers for those who want to make a weekend out of it. It may be hard to believe, be it is significantly cooler up here. I haven't run AC in the house yet this year.

Bring the kids and dogs too. Plenty for them to get into here, including a game room with pinball, pool table, air hockey, etc., 50+ acres to explore with creeks and a pond to fish and play in, room to ride their go carts or 4 wheelers........

The spouses can go yard sale hopping, hit the flea markets and check out the small shops, etc all over the place here. My next door neighbor is an awesome massage therapist if you want to spoil them a little!!

Hi Jason,

Careful what you kid about... I might come to work just to learn more about 7.3's... but you'd have to buy lunch too !

I'm always tinkering with my PS... next big project for me is rebuilding the injectors. At 430,000 miles I believe they did it

A Newbie here in Warner Robins-Middle Ga. I had a 1976 F100 390-c6 ,It was Awesome! Now I have a 1993 f150 long and 93 short bed. The long has a 5.8 EFI and a C6. The short has a 4.9L -5 speed with cracked head . I am trying to build a Red 5.8 lightening with the short bed. I will need Parts to convert from 4.9l to 289 or 351. I could use pictures and advice. Need motor mount frame plate pics for v8,also fuel line, and exhaust pics. Thanks Georgia ford people! I have a lot of mechanical, electrical and pro body work experience, Just saying.

I'm not kidding, you're welcome to come anytime.

I'd be happy to help you swap injectors if you wanted to do it here. I have the tools and can get the parts to rebuild them ourselves if you wanted. Or I can get rebuilt injectors for about $1200.

But, if injectors work good - I wouldn't change them... If you feel like power is down, it's more likely leaky up-pipes.

These trucks all need the 'in-tank' mods by now as well if ya haven't done that.
