something draining battery on 1979 F350

It all started with a simple solenoid replacement. The truck still wouldn't start and wires started to smoke when battery cables were put on even without turning over the key. A so called Ford truck enthusiast came out to fix it. Repaired wires etc. New battery installed. Next day dead battery.
Took it to a mechanic. Stated he couldn't track down what is draining the battery so he put a switch in the fender to shut the battery off so nothing is putting a drain on the battery. Still a dead battery every morning.
Battery has been replaced three times. New starter. New alternator. New solenoide. And other new parts I'm sure I forgot.
Sometimes when I open the door I hear the ignition buzzing, even when tbe key is out. I remember the dome lights wouldn't shut off so someone just took the bulbs out.
I'm at the end of my rope and into this truck $1000 for repairs. I am not a mechanic in any way but I feel I am getting shined on and ripped off by the ones who have looked at it. What are they not seeing?

A volt ohm meter.
PS your mechanics all suck and you shouldn't ever go back to them.

Yeah I know. I desperately need my truck running but won't go to one more person to get ripped off.
So the voltage ohm you mentioned. You'll have to explain that to me. Being female and mechanically challenged.

I think your ignition switch could be the problem. Take the switch out from the dash and pull all the wires off at the end of the night with a charged batterie and hook the wires up in morning and see if its dead. there are other ways but thats the cheapest . it`s not hard .only takes a minute.
