You have a '93 truck.

My '92, 302 was manufactured 11/91.

My '92, 300 was manufactured 03/92

Your best bet is to go off the calibration #. Ford does weird things.. Anyone here will oblige that fact.

Out if curiosity, why are you needing a new PCM? It would be wise to just pull the one you have in there now and get the Alphanumeric code from the PCM.

Also, look at the inside door jam, where the door hinges are, near the middle part of the windshield and see if there is a sticker there with 4 Alphanumeric print. I actually had this on my '92,300 and it was the PCM numbers I needed. It's weird.. Don't know why it was also there.

Haven't pulled out all the way yet as was trying to order off vin data, but will this weekend

I would like to know this part description or part # for the ECM/PCM gasket/seal that attaches to the firewall, do you know?
Thx

Here's a helpful link I found for you.

You need the prefix and suffix for ordering a Reman PCM.

Example: F2TF-XXXX. The middle numbers 12A650 aren't needed.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/858904-eec-iv-sd47b.html

Edit: I don't know the # for the gasket/seal at the firewall. Maybe check LMC.com and see what it shows.

Or hopefully another member can post the number or such.

Also, truck has severe downshifting issues or no upshift at all ..but..if in CC, truck runs like new ..trans shop said it was a ecm ... Thus the Change

Pull the codes....very likely a bad TPS problem. Default guess is always bad computer, which is usually wrong and very expensive.

Thanks rla
No codes, all sensors including tps have been replaced with mc parts.
As mentioned above it shifts perfectly in CC, but not driving without
So it was suggested I may have wrong ecm since the po had it replaced at a local shop with a reman, am pulling today, does anyone know the correct mc part# for this truck and calibration?
Pulled out, box is corroded, but inside looks OK, bolts all broke off,
Looks like the part# is correct?

Based on this Ford number, you would need Cardone part #78-5236.
Hope that helps. Thanks!

93 F150 5.0 4x4

Does the IAC have any control over the TPS? I unplugged mine after high idle and it then idled very low, plugged back in, made some whirlling noise then idled at correct speed, is the IAC going out as well?
