LOL no worries I actually thought the exact same thing last night when I looked at this thread! That box had only been in the garage for 9 months

Onto the next project!! Anyone care to recommend gauges? I'll be doing some forum searches tonight

 

Brand are autometer and isspro. Some are having good luck with glowshifts too! There is always the aeroforce scangauge, my favorite.


Type of gauge: EGT, trans temp, boost, fuel pressure etc.

Got a little work done today. Removed the dash and REMOVED the old, hacked up security system. Lots of zip ties and chunks of wire on the floor today! I also re-mounted the 3-position switch for my PacBrake. Anyone else have this configuration? It is the type mounted directly to the back of the turbo not down the pipe. It has a vacuum/electric actuator. I have not messed with it too much but it seems to work great. The PO drilled the hole too large for the switch and used some kind of silicone to fill it in. Needless to say, ti did not work well. I removed it and added a washer (painted black, who likes shiny stuff anyway??) and remounted. Not bad, for now.



Also, here is a shot after a thorough cleaning, using an Eagle One mitt and then a wax job along with a tint job.

 

I bought mine last week, never drove a dually, but getting use to it..Nice truck..I really like that color..
