The tag on my motor claims 215 hp and torque is rubbed off. I'm curious if anyone knows what mine might be. 94 PSD straigh pipe off stock DP and backed up by a stick.

The 1994 Power Stroke had 210 HP-425 lb/ft, the 1994 IDI turbo had 190 HP-395 lb/ft, and the IDI n/a had 185 HP-360 lb/ft.

I had read that the 97' ran 225hp and 480ft-lbs. The tag on my 97' says 225hp and i have the E4OD. can anyone else confirm the torque for the 97' with the E4OD?

You're right on the auto, the 225HP and 480 lb/ft were for the manual transmission only. The lower rating was for the auto.

There were no F250 HD or F350's produced for the 1998 model year at all. There was only an F250 light duty that resembled the F150 for the 1998 model year. The F250 light duty became the F150 with the 7700 GVWR in 1999 with the change to the current Super Duty trucks.

sorry i should have been more clear; i meant the f250hd/350's that were built in 97/98. I'm aware that there wasn't a 98 model year in production; f250hd/350's that were being built through early 1998 were still modeled as a 1997... until the superduties came out in mid-1998.

I know that I don't know everything, but i didn't want y'all to think i was a ******* or something....
