77 Ford "contour" rear bumper bracket help

I bought a "contour" style rear bumper and brackets a few years back. The bumper was on a rack at a salvage, so I am not certain of the truck it was from. One outer bracket was missing. I have been looking for the right outer bracket ever since. I bought a full set of brackets today for $20 bucks. The brackets I purchased today were on a 73-76 bed, that was converted into a trailer. The brackets are different from the ones that came with the bumper I purchased a few years ago.

Can anyone tell me the year or model of truck the top bracket, in the first and second picture below is for? As you can see the mounting holes are different.

Also, the brackets from the set I bought today, make the bumper mount lower. The upper bracket in the pic is mounter on the left and the other bracket is mounted on the right. I will also add, I had to drill a new rear hole in my frame to mount the brackets from the first purchase.

The top bracket is mounted on the left and the bottom bracket is mounted on the right, to show difference in mounting height.

1964/79 F100/350: TWO different types of Styleside contoured rear bumpers, TWO different types of rear bumper brackets.

If the "1973/76" brackets you bought are different than the brackets that came on the bumper, the bumper came with C4TZ rear bumper brackets.

C4TZ-17906-A Painted & C4TZ-17906-B Chrome .. Contoured Rear Bumpers.

1964/66 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F100 4WD / 1967/72 F100/350 / 1973/79 F250/350 with 33 1/2" width between the inner frame rails behind the cab.
---
C4TZ-17787-A Right Inner / C4TZ-17788-A Left Inner / C4TZ-17795-A Right Outer / C4TZ-17796-A Left Outer .. Contoured Rear Bumper Brackets.

1964/66 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F100 4WD / 1967/72 F100/350.

Note: The C4TZ-17906-A & B rear bumpers were used on some 1973/79's, but these brackets cannot be used with them.

D3TZ-17906-A Painted & D3TZ-17906-B Chrome .. Contoured Rear Bumpers.

1973/79 F100 / 1973/79 F250/350 with 37 1/2" width between the inner frame rails behind the cab / 1975/79 F150 / 1978/79 Bronco (Bronco's use specific brackets).
---
D3TZ-17787-B Right Inner / D3TZ-17788-B Left Inner / D3TZ-17795-C Right Outer / D3TZ-17796-C Left Outer .. Contoured Rear Bumper Brackets.

Thanks for the info ND. I am fairly certain that the brackets pictured on the bottom of the two photos are the D3TZ part number brackets. These are the ones I have always seen on the 73-79 trucks. I did not think that the C4TZ brackets would work on a 73-79 truck, since the frame rail widths are different. The bracket on the top of the two pictures, does fit on my 77. The only modification I made, was to drill an additional hole at the rear of the frame rail. Therefore, I do not think that these brackets are from the 64-72 model trucks.

If the D3TZ 1973/76(79) brackets you bought don't match the brackets on the bumper, they're 1964/72 C4TZ brackets.

The attached picture is for the 64-72 rear bumper brackets. Neither of the brackets that I have, look like these. Could the brackets (top bracket in original photo) I have be from a early 80's Ford pickup?

1980/86 F100/350 Styleside (body style 99) contour bumpers are somewhat different in appearance than the 1964/79 bumpers. Notice how and where the brackets mount.

Are any of the 80-86 contour rear bumper brackets still available?

ND would you possibly have exploded view drawing of the rear bumper assembly for a 1977 f-150 with a contour style bumper?
Many hanks in advance
