2-1/2" vs 3" wide rear shoes, clearance, master cylinder issues?
I am %98 sure that my rear shoes on my '96 F250 are 2-1/2" wide. I just picked up complete rear (has the ratio I want) but it has 3" wide shoes.
Is there a wheel or shock clearance issue caused buy the wider shoes?
Is there a different slave cylinder, or more importantly, a different proportioning valve or master cylinder to be used with the 3" shoes?

We just went through this exercise recently: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...drum-size.html
The short answer is you already have 3" rear brake drums/shoes (assuming this is for the truck in your sig)
