Nope, no secrets from you Glenn!

There's a kid that lives around here, big into his duramax, he wouldn't say a word about any mods. I think he may have been bluffing. We have a few guys that like to get into pissing matches about there trucks. I try and stay away. Lol.

I know I will catch a ton of flack for this, but it's not a fishers tale either. There was a fellow here in Denver that ran a 10.05 or 10.50 quarter at Badimere speedway about 8 years ago. I was there to see it and it was on a weekend warrior day. It was a Forest green 4 door long bed OBS. No one could believe it in the crowd either. Turns out the guys truck was compounds over 106 mm turbo or close too. He drove it to the track, and drove it home. The nickname was the FROG. There was a you tube video of it about 6 years back, but I believe has since been pulled since he passed.

There is an engine builder in east springs that I took a set of heads to back when I thought I could do magic with an EFI scat stroker... He was actually the builder of the motor and the two previous motor that were split in half around the crank. I was more interested in blow through carbed turbo gas motors back then, but he claims 110 psi was going through that motor.

I need to see if I can find the video off an old hard drive so you guys don't think I'm full of a bag of chit, I'm pretty sure I saved it. It was by far the fastest Ford I have seen in person.

Well, i probably jumped the gun starting this thread. Everything seems to take longer than planned! And I am still curious if anyone has heard anything about that s369 turbo yet?

Any how, progress had been made, not on the truck, but on the pole barn.

vapor barrier and mesh down

and the concrete. I could have a pretty nice running truck for the cost of that lol. but i'd just have to work on it outside...

garage door. got a good deal on two of those. 100 bucks a piece, used, with all hardware. insulated too.

wall dividing garage and cold storage

hauling the F-SD

And there it is. The F-SD is in the garage!!

These lights are the led retrofit bulbs. like 50 bucks or something for 4 tubes on amazon. They replace the old florescent, t12 or t8s, and these specific ones are 120v, so they don't need a ballast. just find some old non working florescent fixtures and remove the ballasts and wire the pin sockets for 120v. Nice and bright. It is nice to work in a well lit shop. I still want to add a few more. gotta find some more free 4' fixtures.

The barn needs some clean up outside and other work. still have to cut the tin, so i can use the full 10 ft height if the door, right now the opening is only 12w by 8 tall. So hopefully soon with the 05 f550 axle swap.

Thanks guys

I wasn't planning on selling it, but it is already the right color for your truck! Though southern Cal is a little far from NY

Yeah, they are a bit pricey. Texas isnt much closer lol. I actually found that one at a pick n pull junk yard local to me for cheap. Check out some junk yards on your way from Texas to California. You can try searchtempest.com, you can search all the craigslists in a radius you choose.

Money well spend on the shop. Putting money in trucks is just throwing it away, but a shop, will always make you money
