RABS light on, o/d light flashing and hard 1/2 shift
I have a 1992 f250 7.3L and I just had a new VSS put in along w/ torque converter, solenoid body and TPS to solve codes picked up on scanner.
Now the blasted Rear ABS light is on (w/o the red brake light) , the O/D cancel
light is flashing and the hard 1/2 shift has returned. Any ideas out there as to what could be the problem? Thanks.

Well, that's a problem. I'm not sure if I have to just check the codes with my OBD I scanner or do I have to get codes from the ABS module and count the number of flashes of the RABS light. I hope that I only have to get the codes from the TCM. Can you tell me where I should retrieve the codes from?

You'll have codes in both places but I don't know how to read codes from the RABS controller. You'll at least want to use your OBD I reader to get the codes from the PCM which is what controls your transmission and is flashing the O/D light at you. The flashing O/D light indicates fault codes related to the transmission and the hard 1-2 shift is because the transmission is operating in fail-safe mode.
