1964 Idiot Lights

My 64 F100 has a mechanical oil pressure gauge and a volt gauge.

Im replacing both with electric Autometer units.

The idiot lights do not work. I want to get them working.

As near as I can tell, the cluster wiring is intact and hooked up.

The oil gauge hardline comes off the lower driver block of my 292 just behind the fuel pump, I don't see a switch or wiring anywhere for the OIL idiot light. Where should that be? A pic would be helpful.

How was the GEN light wired? I don't have any extra wires in the engine bay. Im going to wire the new volt gauge with new wires according to the Autometer instructions.

Chances are, whoever installed the oil gauge tossed the switch for the light. You'll need a tee to get both working, or open up another gallery plug for the extra sender.

Sorry, can't help with the gen light.
