Vermont June 2015 BS - sun fun and picnic basket full of BS
#997
Friday night, 1930, wiring project done (except for a few odds and ends). But no more 14 hour days crawling around attics and crawl spaces running new wires and soaking up insulation.
Sanctuary of chuch looks like a construction zone for real now. Lots of plaster repair. Here are a few photos to give an idea:
Whomever rents scaffolding is making a few bucks here
Lots of plaster and window damage. This window will be removed this coming Tuesday for repairs
Can you say dirt and dust? And this is after a lot of clean up of the biggest pieces.
Charring on some of the beams from the fire in 1903 that took the roof off the church. Wood that was useable was recycled - waste not, want not.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Roy. It does seem to be a miracle that I seem to be stuck in the middle of this small project turned large. I just go where God leads me.
Morning Jim and woodchucks, wet woodchucks at that. Church this morning in our parish hall. Starting to get used to the new venue - good to get out of old habits once in a while and do things differently. Healthy for all of us.

Church is a mess. I imagine there will be some word work touch up on some pews when the plaster hit them
