1986 f250 - somehow rear light wires ripped out. Need help

Just noticed today that somehow my truck wiring in the back got ripped out, no lights to trailer or rears. Joodas

First color is primary wire color.

Wires from truck: Black/Purple
Green/orange
Black
Brown

Left side rear:
Green/yellow
Brown
Black/purple

Right side
Orange/blue
Black/purple
brown.

The brown I believe was linked together into one.
The 2 black wires on left and right join with pigtail in the middle

I'd written down orange/blue is right blink and green/orange is left blink and brown is lights , but today, cannot seem to get much other than right blink or right tail.

Help? And please don't use words like 'common', and such. Make it real plain, electrical always confuses me.

Those colors don't match up. I have no white/black or light green/white.

O/LB and LG/O I do have but I knew that part.

So there are 2 blacks that connect left and right tails, and it pigtails. Is that just a ground?
What are brown's for then?

The blacks are just grounds, and on my truck each tail light has a short ground to the bed. The brown is tail light.

Yes you do. They're just a ways away from where you're looking....they're the fronts.

Brown is tail lights.
Black is ground.
Black/purple or black/pink is reverse lights.

Brown is also the rear, license plate illumination, front side markers, front parking lights, roof-mounted clearance lights (if equipped) and is used to signal the lights-on-door-open buzzer (if equipped) and also dims the dash displays of certain clocks & radios.

Yes, it's also the rear tail lights, too.
