I think that tank is plastic so your going to be SOL. Time to look into a custom tank. Can't you mod the original tank for diesel?

You can't patch that stuff and not have it leak.

Time to call the people over at >>> TITAN Fuel Tanks
They might have an idea on what you could use with the space that you have.

Help!

Hi guys, I'm almost done with the 6.0 project before first start but I ran in to a problem, I found a nice fuel tank out of a 2012 f250, a 26 gallon to be exact, I got it all mounted and ready to go, but unfortunately I found out today that the old quick released fuel fittings are incompatible with the newer sending unit, I was wondering if any of you knows, if you can just buy the right fittings by themselves or what. 2012 f250 diesel sending unit, the connections are different than the 6.0 ones.
Tank fully mounted

Advance Auto sells fuel line repair kits that you could use to adapt. They sell them straight or 90°.

We must be on the same wavelength tonight. I was thinking a line
repair kit would be just the thing he needs.

I take it the stock sender won't fit in the new tank.

You are right, the 6.0 sending unit is a lot different than the new ones, if not I would had adapted the old one, but it would probably been unsafe, lol this whole truck is unsafe.🤣

I don't but I'd bring the sender in to test fit or at least get accurate measurements of the male end.

Thank you all for all the great help, she is on the road and behaving well.

Just wanted to stop by and show you guys that my project is almost done, I been driving her as my daily and it is doing pretty good, now I'm just working on all the cosmetic stuff, mainly the inside of the cab.
