45000 milesHaving a bad rattle issue at speeds between 15 and 30 mph (lower gears (3rd, 4th and 5th)). It happens during gradual acceleration while in heavy city traffic. If I take my foot off the gas it stops, same as if I get on the gas harder than gradual.
Any ideas?

 

People will probably want to know what year and engine you have.
They also may want to know how many miles.

 

Heat shield rattle? Get underneath and hit the heat shields with the palm of your hands. Especially those spot welded to the exhaust. That’s the easiest place to start.

 

Im going to take a wild guess and say he has 45,000 miles on it ,…..

Heat shields are a good place to start, they are free to check and you find out pretty fast if that is the issue.
