PROJECT 53' Aluminator Build

Nick, I'm looking for the oil adapter, the new one. # M-6881-M50A for the 2015/2016 Coyote engine. I thought you mentioned it previously. Ford Racing say's it's not available, due to a re-design. Have you started your engine? Are you using this part? How did the Moroso oil pan fit?
No, I haven't started it yet. Work has picked up so progress is slowing down some. Next is mounting the AC evaporator, then I can see how much room I have under the dash and start planning out the wiring. I just passed my one year build anniversary and am pretty happy with the progress so far. Time for a break before I get burned out....

Nick, Thanks for the motor info. I've been doing body work and rust repair and painting on the Panel Truck body. I had to weld in a few pieces on the wheel well tubs and a few other rusted through places. There was bondo in some spots 3/4" thick. i removed it and pounded out the dents to where it will fill with 1/8" of body filler. A learning process. I'm about ready to spray the bottom and wheel wells etc. with bed liner. After scraping, wire brushing, rust reformer and primer. There's a lot of square footage on the bottom side of a '51 panel.
I won't be at the one year point until August. I did the frame suspensions, motor and trans last fall, before going to Arizona for the Winter. I have the FRPP controls pack, so it's time to finish up the motor. I'll have the hidden body work and paint and the firewall done, so I can set the body back on the frame to do the exterior.

^^ Those ones I got from Summit. They are Billet Specialties and billet aluminum. I drilled out the threads and used longer bolts so I could bolt them to the frame. I also have 3 place separators for the hard line down the frame. Also billet aluminum. I got them from BC Broncos BC Broncos parts - B. C. Broncos llc - products new home - Fuel line frame mount clamp kit. They are pretty slick and hold the brake line as well as the fuel lines (pressure and return). I drilled out one of the fuel line spots so I can use a 3/8" pressure and return.

Hey Nicholas
I actually used some of your ideas to do a few new cross members on my build. I'm curious now how you plan to route your brake and fuel lines around the 1/4 plate now? Are you planning on just having the lines bump out a bit to over it so that you can slide the cross members in and out?

Rear end width
What is the width of the rear end you are using. I have 2 9" rears one 58" hub to hub and a 61". I am building an F3, so my measurements are a little different. I chose the TCI parabolic leaf kit for reasons. But the kits are for F1 so I have to change measurements. Why did you have to cut the fender up and add metal?
