I have an 06 with a 5.4 with 70k on it and I have already had to do the exhaust manifolds twice, once covered by warrantee at 19k, then again around 40k and now at 74k I have a major leak from the left side manifold again!!! WTF?!? Anyone else have this many issues with them? I Think ford should pay for this repair since it's their ****ty manifolds that keep warping!! If anyone has had this problem and had any luck getting ford to pay for it, please let me know who you contacted.

 

the failure rate is pretty substantial on them, and as long-running of a problem it was i can't believe they never really sorted it out. it's not a safety item so i don't see you getting very far with it, but you could make a lot of owners happy if you do, so keep us posted.

in the mean time i am preparing to do one on my '07.
