Is the cab around the rear window different if you had factory rear window(slider vs. single pane window) ?

LMC gives 2 different seals,

49-9286 without groove for trim (A)

49-9279 for truck with original rear sliding window. (C)

My truck had a slider but not sure if it was original slider.

Not sure which seal I need, are they different ?

 

The factory slider is thicker than the flat glass. If it is a factory slider the seal area will be approx. 5/8 " thick. That is the 9279 seal, flat glass and most aftermkt sliders use the other seal. Rear glass is the same from about 1980 to 1997 for sure, maybe more.
