Hey guys just looking for some advice on what I should do for a tune up on my 95 302 with almost 170k. All stock. Okay so I may have a few questions lol

What cap and rotor to run? As well as what spark plugs with gap & wires?

I have an oil pan leak which I plan on doing something about soon, but my belt also has a good bit of glazing (it has a squeak to as well.) Would I be okay to replace the belt now with the minor leak?

I was going to do a coolant flush as well, what coolant do you guys recommend?

I was also wondering about spark knock.... I have a manual transmission, but if I'm cruising in 4th and mash it, I just get a whole lot of spark knock, any advice there?

Any other advice is appreciated, I know I need to do something about the oil leak, and I've done my air filters recently.

Use only Motorcraft or Autolite copper plugs and a nice set of Motorcraft or BWD wires and cap/rotor. There's no need for the fancy performance parts. Just don't get the cheapo stuff.

 

Here is the tune up I did on my 302 and am quite satisfied with the way it runs now! I got everything off of summit racing website but you could do a search on each part number for possibly better price!
