brake booster?

brake booster?
Looking for some input. Can a brake booster leak internally? its on a hydra-max system and my power steer fluid is not going down but I loose my power brakes after about 5 miles. brakes still work but pedal goes just about all the way to the floor. let it sit overnight and they are back to where they should be!! Only thing I notice is that the return line off the bottom of the hydraulic brake valve gets super hot! The other return line coming off it more up on its side is not hot at all. Parking brake seems to work fine. Brake booster, master cylinder, hydraulic park brake valve, or just air in the system? Anyone?

problem seems to have started during winter storage. Tried it a few times now, same results. When it does go to the floor and you keep it there with a fair bit of pressure, it seems to make a timed little tick and you can feel it kick a little on the pedal when holding it. only with the motor running, it does not make that sound or little kick back with the elec motor.
any input would be appreciated, it seems no service shop around here wants to even talk about them.
