The first time I pulled a substantial hill (5kft elevation change in 10 miles) with 6k it got all the way to 250 degrees before I noticed it and stopped for a bit.

Got my bellowed up pipes in. Also took my DP off and looked inside to see if my ebpv was sticking, it seems to be pushing pretty hard when its open so Im pretty sure its staying open. One thing that is bothering me is on the side of the spool fins theres a gap in the ring.

Got rid of my muffler and 3-1/2" stock exhaust today and switched it out to a straight pipe 4". Popped it out right in front of the rear tire. I do have to say the douchebag in me likes the sound of the turbo whistle. Doesnt look like it helped with egts though.

No sorry I wrote that wrong. I have someone putting them in tuesday. I meant opening up the exhaust didn't help.

Not what Im planning on, because hopefully my up-pipes fix my issues. But if it doesnt I cant find a 6.0 intercooler on CL for less then $500 Then with an early 99 spider and all the tubing Im at like $900. Is a 6.0 intercooler really worth it or can I just do a CX Racing kit and be done with it for the same price and it be a LOT easier.

I already have the 6.0 trans cooler like you had suggested before, your right that thing is great. I haven't gone above 150 degrees yet with it. My egts however arent behaving as well.

I think he's talking about the Intercooler Glenn. You know about those too though... To which I have a question for the OP. Where did you find a spyder and tubing? I have been thinking about that CX kit just for ease as well. The cheapest spyder I have found is $400 and I haven't even located the tubing yet.

Lol no worries glenn I appreciate the input either way.

The tubing I found on ebay I was just gonna use a universal 3" intercooler piping kit. I was just gonna use the 90 degree boots at the bends I needed that didnt come with the kit.

Something like this

This one seems like it would fit our trucks a little better but your gonna have to chance having alot more boots and less solid pipe. And your still gonna have to figure out a spyder for it.
