Question 49 F3 Box Sheet Metal

Hi guy's can anyone tell me what gauge the box sheet metal is on a 49 F3 ?

I believe that it is 16 ga. That is what I have been using to patch my 1952 F1 box and that is what it measures. Eastwood carries a nice, inexpensive sheetmetal gauge if you are not sure.
