Options for cleaner cabin air?

So thanks to several fires burning in California and Nevada the current air quality index in Reno, NV is 209 and considered 'very unhealthy' by the EPA. There is quite literally ash floating in the air.

I know the Excursion/SuperDuty doesn't have a cabin air filter (WTF?) but what are my options for cleaning up the air coming into the truck?

I have often wondered if it was possible to add an air filter system to our trucks...looking forward to someone's wisdom here!

There was a Ford kit available back in the day but it's been discontinued since like 03 IIRC.

Do anyone have access to the Ford part number. There is a sligh chance that some dealer may have it. Or they may have an after market product.

I could never find anything last year when I bought my X, I might try to rig something up in the next few months though.

I don't have the current ability to climb under my truck but I'm wondering if we have something similar to the F150's: https://sites.google.com/site/fordf1...air-filter-mod.

It would be sweet if I could just cut some plastic out and put a filter in there.
