I have a '94 F250 with a 460. I noticed when I checked my oil last weekend that the manifold was wet around the second injector on the driver's side. Plus I see some fluid, most likely gas, in the manifold valley close to the injector. I'm guessing the 0-ring on the injector needs to be replaced?
Any tips for doing this repair? Any kind of special tools needed? I'm not very experienced with working on fuel injection.
Had a chance to look at it closer this morning. I'm no longer sure it's the injector that's leaking. It may be the small piece of hose that connects both sides of the fuel rail together. I cleaned the intake and around the injectors so everything is bone dry. I let it run ten minutes and no leaks. I'm going to drive it some and check again.
