OBS dash swap in your brick?
#16
Actually just replaced my dash today. Got it all back in and repaired. No cracks and no passenger side sag anymore.
Wiring comes out of the firewall. One section goes up and towards the passenger side. Speedo and cluster wires go towards where the headlight switch is. Comes in to the cluster from the left. That passenger side harness goes towards the ashtray area. In front of the ashtray area. It tucks in right underneath the front of the dash where the glove box hinges are. It tucks all the way in a channel there.
There is the heat and air and radio harness that goes to the left of the ac controls and up to the radio.
There is an edition of the main harness that goes around the left side of the cab to the fuse box and then over to the steering column.

update:
after a 70 hour week, i was able to spend some time on it.
the firewall has been modified.
1/2 of the column support tach'd in,
was sent the incorrect steering column.
i had to rape the one out of my 63 Ranchero (yes its got a PSD and a OBS column)
got the wiring situated in the dash.
too hot to continue working on it today, more in the AM
