Well I just bought a 2008 6.4 and I m deleting the exhaust / egr due to me not wanting to be left stranded. I was looking at the kit on Freedom Diesel Performance and wondered if any one else had used it and if they liked it?

Im not doing anything crazy just want reliability....maybe just a little more response and MPGs.

I havent used or heard of them but that seems kinda high for just a delete tune and a delete pipe I know this is twice as much but I got a buddy running this on his truck and Rudys is a reputable place Touch Screen 4" DPF Delete Exhaust Ford 6.4L Powerstroke Diesel 2008-2010 S&B

 

Mr Smitty, which one did you go with? I am also looking at FDP and wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. Thanks

 

Man... I still haven't done anything. Well I have put a head unit in ( which is cool. should have done it in my other trucks). All my research leads to Spartan or mini max. They seem to have the most trusted set up. I will probably go with the mini max when I get my next $1500 my wife doesn't know about. both of these take the motor and drive train into account. All the cheaper tunes were questionable. So the extra $$$ I think will be worth it to not have to replace the trans. Don't know if I'm right but that's the way I'm headed.
