2005 Ford 6.0 diesel, extended Torque Pro PIDs stop working
1. OBDLink LX, no problems with bluetooth pairing at anytime.
2. Torque Pro works fine unless vehicle is shut off before Torque Pro app is shutdown.
When the vehicle is shutdown first I lose the extended PIDs upon restart, but not the standard ones.
This only happens with Torque Pro. When I use the OBDLink app, I can restart vehicle and it reconnects with all PIDs displaying.
3. Only way the clear the condition with Torque Pro is to shutdown the vehicle and remove/replace the OBDLink LX device.
Once I do that, it will work just fine.
4. I would rather use Torque Pro than the OBDLink app due to the fact it has more features. I know to shutdown Torque Pro
before turning off the truck, but other people (wife) do not allows remember. Any help is appreciated.

Tried a little experiment this morning. Running Torque Pro with no problems, shut the truck off for a couple of minutes to run in the store with Torque running. No extended PIDs when I restarted truck.
Shutdown Torque and tried running the OBDLink app, still no extended PIDs. Removed and replaced OBDLX device. Still no extended PIDs.
Now once I stopped and restarted truck the extended PIDs came back, so it must be effecting the ECU communication some. Always have standard PIDs.
I am going the try switching the protocol scan to auto instead of the actual protocol to see if that will help it reconnect better.
