To be honest, I used pre-flared lines- I was looking to take up the extra length.

OK, got it. I cut and flared mine from a roll I got at AutoZone. Your way would have been much faster and easier.

It was fast and easy. Easy bending in the rain and was driving it by 7pm.

Now about to fly to China! No time!
