Steve, - So glad you posted the link in the other forum, love the story that goes with this, and trust me, I am a total noob at this as well, and I worry about the skill set needed to do the rebuild I have just recently started. So keep going and blaze a trail for us other noobs to follow. I would love to meet you some day, might be possible if your in western PA as I am in eastern Indiana. Best of luck on the truck

First off Steve.... about damn time that you started this thread

Secondly, love the back story as to why you searched out this specific truck.

Lastly, this makes for a nice timeline to follow your work and if there are problems that you are having we can chime in and give you some input.

Good luck with it and keep the pictures coming or we WILL HARASS you....lol.

Hey, thanks. I didn't want to gob up that site every time i painted something and posted a picture. i figured i'll tell people once, and if they care, they can subscribe.

We newbies gotta stick together. good luck on your project, too. Have you started a thread yet?

thanks pat. i think that's how it was designed, but with aluminum showing instead of white. it should look cool.
