cranks but wont fire

So here is a odd ball that's been throwing me for a loop for weeks. My 95 150 5.0 decided not to start and left me stranded and I'm starting to think it might be either the ignition cylinder or switch. So here is the story I immediately swaped out an icm and coil with no change as I wasn't getting spark from my coil had power to it but nothing coming out no change still no spark. So I manage to get it drug home swapped a distributor thinking it was the pickup coil in the distributor only to be disappointed. So I hook up my spark tester to my coil again and hook up my starter trigger to the fender solenoid bang fires right up!! I do this probably 6 times or so in between trying the key fired up each time with the trigger wouldn't with the key so I think ignition switch since it cranks right? so I drive it to work the next day with the intention of installing a push button mostly cuz I have less than 30 day to be out of my house so I didn't have time to screw with it. I go out at lunch hook up the push button switch and it starts doing the same damn thing cranks and cranks but won't fire not even with the trigger have power to my coil but the only time I get any spark it right as I pull and let off the trigger I've managed to get it started 4 times since once it fires I have constant spark and it runs fine so I know its got to be something stupid what has me really confused is that i can't get it to fire off of the solenoid which is why I'm thinking it has something to do with the ignition cylinder. this is the fourth one of these trucks I've had and I know that you should always be able to fire it off that solenoid and it cranks so I know its not a bad solenoid. Am I on the right track here? any ideas???????

Switch under dash. I think you're right.
You can unscrew it and operate it manually. See if that works.
Once the switch is out, make sure the key operates the linkage completely.

Back to top for more eyes.

it could be a bad computer. . .you can take the computer apart and look for burnt up circuits.

AND go to the jy and get a donor for 10-15 bucks.
