a fool and his money

Are easily parted. I was scammed by William Roberts. 614-359-2283. Office @ 50 E long street, Columbus, OH. I admit I was foolish to so easily send money, but I was blinded with excitement to find the parts I needed. He was on Craigslist. Here I sit 3 weeks later out $400 and still no parts! Buyer beware, I learned the hard way. In almost 20 years of handshake deals, this is my first burn.

A quick internet search shows that the address given isn't an office. It's a pawn shop address.

50 E Long St Columbus OH | Lev's Pawn Shop, Pawn Shops 43215 | MapQuest.com

Another quick search revealed this.

That sucks. I'll only use Paypal, and I try to only buy local.

As Vito Corrlione used to say "Bring me his ears". How about a visit to the pawn shop, or is it part of this shill too? $400 should buy a body part, or two.

Responded to a wanted ad I had for parts for my f100. I bought a hood, radiator core support and inner fender from him. Ugh.

Sorry to hear this. You might put an add in our Marketplace. At least you'll get your parts. If that low-life were a member here, and he responded to an add you had placed here, there is a section on this forum for your situation. A Mod would get involved.

I just realized... The seller told me about a guy who bought a mustang cluster that was mad because the shipping carrier was late... I wonder is that guy ever got his part!?

Like you, he's still waiting on something that likely doesn't even exist.

very sad how the world is today.
never buy anything off an unknown source without paypal.
similar situation on a 1929 model A gas tank from someone a few states away.
i insisted him to be paid through paypal. which he didnt like.
part never came,
i contacted paypal, and was reimbursed.

some peoples words are nothing but hot air.
