This is from a Twin Turbo build but the pre-build, stock numbers are on the first graph - hope this helps!

WOW, these drivetrains lose 100 HP. You would think with modern technology and efficiency that waste would not still be present.

It's more than just drive train, all the other parasitic loads are also there, alternator, a/c,power steering pump just to name a few.

Is it ok to say that it needs at least 2200 rpm to tow a reasonable load?(in my case,let's say 7000lbs trailer and 1200lbs in the bed).. no hills I mean..

With our 2013 SC DRW, 4.30 gears and 17" tires pulling our 16K trailer we run 2K rpm in 6th gear doing 65 mph on flat ground. It will downshift to 5th going over most overpasses and sometimes down to 4th gaining about 500 rpm each time it downshifts.
