A proper Lightning? YES! Not that tremor crap that was overpriced and no quicker than the 5.0. Until they come out with a proper Lightning I.E. 5.0 TT (or maybe the FP 5.2), I'll keep my 13 RCSB 5.0.

I would rather see a 5.0 ecoboost with a 6 speed manual trans and an extended cab option, not crew cab, that would need to be the Harley Davidson version.
Give me 550 to 700 hp and I'd be selling some toys. I don't want to see these Volvo wagons passing me.
I'll get the cash if Ford provides more than a rebadged Limited.

Guess I'm a definite maybe.

I'd buy one, but I'd only do so if it was configured as the first two generations, shortbed single cab, which I don't think will happen.

They are finally building 5.0 RCSB's again. I'm still hoping for a Lightning, but at least we can still build our own versions again.

I think the Raptor has effectively taken the spot of the Lightning unfortunately. While they're not the same really, they serve a similar "really ridiculous" purpose in the lineup.

Two different toys. One is on road only, where 80% of owners drive, and the other is geared towards the 20% who drive off road occasionally. One is a regular cab, light weight for stop light or track use, one is a super or crew cab for sand/mud use. Big mistake not offering both. Two completely different demographics.

I don't think very many enthusiasts who have a need for speed and performance wired into their DNA share that notion.

Haha, when I say "really ridiculous", I mean for the average Camry driving suburbanite. As far as I'm concerned, there's always room for more power and a faster setup.

I may live in the Burbs, but have never driven a Camry, or any other import. More power, less weight please!

2X.
Ford, DO IT. "If you build it,They will come". (good movie) I am assuming Ford doesn't want a war with the insurance companies like early 70's again. Any more than the Crapmaro and Challenger are going to force. But hey FORD....you already did this once. The 1st year Lightning with it's 351W was neck and neck with Chebbie's 454 SS truck. So build us a Lightning neck and neck with the Dodge SRT truck.

2X. A Lightning with an exhaust system that sounds of a 6 cylinder? Blasphemy IMHO.
