What's the best state in America?

Fla. definitely has many great attributes. I've been to several places in the state via Coast Guard Cutter and port of call or liberty stop and I've enjoyed myself each of the dozen or so times I've been there.
I'm equally intrigued by the great state of Texas. Now these are some patriotic folks and they don't mind showing it.

weird thread.. way to many variables to say for sure..i have done alot of traveling for work in my younger years and have seen most of the country, and some of the armpits of the world!!... almost everywhere has its good and bad.. somehow i wound up here in the middle of nowhere in south missouri.. beautiful scenery, weather not too cold or too hot, low taxes, people pretty much leave me alone, local government is very low profile!! easy to get along with gun laws.. where else could i afford 15 acres on a creek right next to a large lake.. it may not be perfect ..or the best..but i like it here

Been on a 3 year tour of the US of A, but I have to say South East Florida is awesome. No winter, summers cooled by a steady breeze, deep sea fishing practically off the pier. An awesome 6.0 Ex down there too.
Year round it's hard to beat. NC is nice too with OBX and mountains, but if I ever retire and can afford a decent boat, going to Florida. But Connecticut has the best pizza! (Modern and Pepe's in New Haven)

it's another camping/hiking adventure.this weekend take a stroll with me to Newry Maine!
several little hike/sites with one main hike.we begin with a Saturday evening walk in the Grafton Notch park, after i pitch my tent at the campground with plenty of time to check out "step falls" before i rest up for Sundays adventure.
into the great Maine woods we go:
have a seat and enjoy the serenity of it all:
up we go:
look how the water flows down the mountain side with such grace!
step falls,rightfully named:
enjoyed the view, then went back to the campground for the night.
