That's the reason I'm here, to learn new things I did a lot of homework prior to upgrading to this TT. It is long, but quite manageable with a F150. I want some wiggle room to throw some junk in the box and put a package of venison hotdogs in the fridge

Have any of you actually weighed the tongue weight of your campers? My spec sheet says 995 lbs tongue weight but at at the scale with no weight distribution hooked up it adds 1,400lbs to the truck and that's with no food in the fridge, no water in the tanks nor clothes in the closets.

15 years on the road about 5000 miles per year. My wife and I travel USA and Canada N-S-E-W. We are 80/83 years young now.
2003 EXC V10 3.73 "bone" stock purchased new. (Except Timbren Bumpers on rear axle). 115k miles. 265/75R16 E at 80 psi. Pullrite 10k. Hitch with Heavy Duty Bars.
2003 Mountaineer 335 TT purchased new. 9600#. Tongue 1000# 235/80R-16 E 80 psi.
The hitch was first on our 1996 Bronco then moved to the EX with some new brackets.
We like the Michelins on the EX. BFG'S did not last. Tread separation, etc replaced until BFG warranty.
We have blown and worn out several 225-75R15 D and E on the TT. We use Provider 235-80R16 E on 16 inch 6 bolt wheels. 80 psi. They are great and run cool. 20 degrees cooler than 15's. Measured with IR Reader. TT Springs upgraded to 3500# - stops bottomimg out and overstressing tires.
All weights measured on Certified Scale and Hydraulic scale for individual wheel weighing for proper weight distribution.
8-10 MPG pulling at 55-60 MPH.
I will add more info later. Ask any questions you have.

I think that may be a Pull-Rite swiveling hitch, if so that's the third one that has shown up here on the forums in the past week on an EX! Pretty rare setups that do work very well.
