No, it's blue flame metallic. The coloring in the photo isn't ideal.

Since this picture, the two major exterior upgrades have been:
1. Adding factory style, extendable tow mirrors. These are a must have. When they are in the non-tow, normal setting, they are as wide as the clip on mirrors in the photo. Once extended, they stick out another 3" past where the clip on mirrors are in the photo. They allow me to see the entire side of the trailer and even behind it a bit. The new mirrors also added the turn signals and puddle lights as well.

2. New wheels. Raceline Injector 931B 17x8.5 +18mm offset

Diablo Lake Vista Point, WA

Been across the North Cross hundreds of time's.Never get tired of it.

Very nice photos. I agree with the "brochure" comments. That photo is fantastic.

I'm an old 35mm film guy, too, and spending time in the darkroom were some of my happiest times. Can't afford to go digital, so I'm a non-practicing amateur photographer in need of a DSLR setup.

Sure you can, you can get older digital bodies dirt cheap. If your current lenses are not compatible with the digital body just use adapter rings until you can upgrade. I use my 12 year old 20d when kayaking and still got lots of great shots. if it gets wet they are about $50 second hand.

I will take a look for some of the older digital bodies. My Minolta SRT201 was a high school graduation present (1979) and newest lens is from 1983. If adapters for lenses that old, I would like to find some.

Are there specific sites that carry those items? A PM might be a option for continuing this conversation.

That is a great combo. We really thought hard about getting an Imagine (bunkhouse version).

I tow a big TT with a very heavy tongue weight (1800lbs) and have upgraded to a Torklift SuperHitch that is rated at 2000lbs TW vs the factory 1250lb hitch.
Thanks for the reply. So if i understand you correctly, I can upgrade the hitch to accommodate the higher hitch weight. However, I still need to stay within the factory towing weight limits.

Also, to calculate my tow ratings.... if it states I can tow 10,000, what weights do i deduct from that number to determine what I can "really" tow?

My wife and I went to a RV show in VA today and I want to make sure the models we're looking at are models we can actually handle.

You won't deduct from the 10K number. It's the cargo capacity that you want to deduct from. Say your cargo capacity is 2,000 lbs and your tongue weight (or pin weight) is 1,000 lbs. That means you can only put 1,000 lbs of cargo (people, luggage, etc) in the truck before you're over the cargo weight limit.

Ah ok, i got it now. So upgrading a hitch to accommodate more hitch weight will result in even less payload available to me. But it will still allow that 10k towing capacity.

Thanks

Guys that are close to cargo capacity but under trailer capacity will throw stuff (firewood, generator, luggage, wife) in the trailer instead of in the truck.

I have the opposite problem. My ATV weighs in around 1,400 lbs. If I want to put any water in my trailer's fresh water tank then I start pulling stuff out of the trailer and into the bed of the truck.

Ah, OK. Understood. If loading my stuff in the truck bumps into the maximum cargo carrying capacity, I just move the wife into the trailer. For best weight distribution, she should be well behind the trailer's axles. Got it.
