2016 F 250 6.2l, 30 ft Flagstaff Vlite 30wrls dry weight 7500 lbs hooked up tonight didn't squat a bit even before I hooked wdh, can't wait to see how the truck pulls tomorrow. So far I like the fact there was no squat and nice and level.

Hitch set-up is much closer to correct this trip out. Still a little twitchy with a cross wind, but worlds better than before.

Not the best picture in the world, but it still seems to be a little low in the nose - may have to come up on the hitch a little more...

Not actually hooked up in this pic, but you get the idea. Out in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park on the weekend.

First trip out this year. Roy lake state park in NE south Dakota. About a 180mile haul from home with a 20-25mph quartering tail wind. The haul west to the lake was a work out, but I have to give proper respect to the Reese straight line. No drama at all at 60mph with that stiff side wind.

Going to the rendezvous at fort Sisseton 20miles west of the lake.

Pictures of your Wilderness don't look too shabby there.

Mom had back surgery Monday so I have no idea when the next time I'll have the Zinger out will be.

I can't remember if I posted in this already, but if so, here it is again

Yesterday, leaving Cloverdale, IN and bringing the rig home to Alabama. Finished our job Thursday, heading to the Carolinas Sunday, but they've changed the location 3 times this week, so it'll be hotels for me 'till Duke Energy pulls their heads out of their butts

The scaled weight is with just under half a tank of gas, all my work and traveling tools, clothes, cribbing(several cinder blocks & 18" 2x10 boards), 13 gallons of extra gasoline, cooler full of ice, drinks etc. in the bed of the truck. Not much in the camper but some winter clothes in the back and a small air compressor.

I finally scaled it because I imagine this is pretty much as heavy as I'll be, minus a full tank of gas, and possibly my wife & daughter in the cab (or camper, depending on their behavior

Looks like you have an equalizer wdh. Can't tell for sure how level the ground is but from the looks of it I would tilt the head back a washer or 2.

Those extended vans can be a bear to level out completely. Some have reported bending the brackets on the trailer before they get it level.

That long overhang makes the weight transfer really hard to mitigate, and can make trailer sway hard to handle as well.

Often times, the best advice with those is that if it is driving ok, it must be pretty close.
