If I couldn't find a Grand Design I liked, I'd look at Cardinal next.
I think the forward living models are nice, but there are only two of us and three sofas seems kind of wasteful. I've often wondered if it would be possible to trade a couple sofas in for four recliner/rockers.

How do you like the TorkLift trailer steps? I have a set here for our Lifestyle 5th wheel, just waiting for decent weather to install.

My wife and I looked at that model also and came to the same conclusion - we'd never use the tub (heck we never use the Jacuzzi tub in our house). Decided we'd rather have more living space than bathroom space. It is nice though.

Over on rv.net there was a thread about a brand new Montana with multiple issues, the biggest being a frame failure on the 5th overhang.
The owner's documented list of abysmal customer service from Keystone was shocking.
Not saying any other manufacturer would be any different, but in this case it was shown/proven.
