My upper bunk has long since been removed. It allows the garage AC to function much better, allows more light from the ceiling lights, and just feels less cramped when eating at the table below. It comes out easily with 4 pins. MODSSO and I also have the zero clearance lower rollover couches for our lower Happijack bunk from XLR that can go straight up in the traditional method or pins can be pulled and they can drop down giving me full clearance all the way to the ceiling. Anyways, this is where my upper bunk now lives in the shed... LOL
PS: MODSSO, stop by my Today is the Day thread in the 6.7 section. It started when I bought my XLR but has morphed into a catch all for RV mods and get's more hits than this thread...

Took the wife on a four day trip to Natchitoches, La. last weekend for the Christmas light show on the Red River. 2nd time up there in the last 4 yrs and we love it. We stayed at Grand Ecore RV park which is brand new and close to town. Took this pic at the Ville Platte rest area on I-49.
