So I just picked up four wheels and tires off of CL for $100 with tires. Two of them are Innies, unless there is something I am missing. Should there be a date or a part # stamped on them? I can't find any markings. Thanks, Patrick
If you don't find numbers on the outer surfaces it means they are Kelsey-Hayes. K-H put their numbers on stickers on the inner rim bases. You can't see them with tire mounted, and even with tires pulled the stickers didn't last long. You might find K-H markings and date codes in-between lug holes. Stu
Thanks gentlemen. I figured they were, but I was curious about any part # or date stampings that I should look for. Now I just need to find 2 more and restore them. This was a score at $25 each.

My truck came with split rims. Split must a been the standard then I guess.
Nope, one piece wheels were standard on base model light duty F 250's, the lock ring wheels were extra cost, think of it as the heavy duty wheel option.
So I was in my Special Secret Ford truck salvage yard today here in Portland, yes, it's all Ford trucks....and I was looking at the wheels. Outies and 5 lug innies are stamped "FORD". We're the 8 lug innies never stamped?
