Too Much Trailer for 7.3 ?

Hello everyone
My 1st post in a while so will keep it short.
I have a 94.5 F350 cc 2wd stock 5spd man 7.3 with the navastar a215 engine Turbo di. I have bought a 31 ft 2007 cameo 5th wheel 13000 lbs.
Mechanic friend and son of owner says I'm asking a lot from my truck?
I have not been on any trips but have towed and I know it's hooked on.
going to ad a mod chip, K&N air filter. I know I'm fine on flat roads just concerned about the hills. What do you think?
Thanks

You'll be fine. That definitely isn't too much trailer for your truck.

I agree with these guys.

Do yourself a favor and avoid the k+n , they are known to dust the turbo. Instead go with a Napa 6637 or better yet buy the kit from Clay at riffraff diesel performance. I'll see if I can get a link.

Edit, heres the link.

i agree with the rest of the guys, you will be fine. and pass on the K&N piece of crap, you will only be spending way too much money for an inferior filter.

If its stock it will struggle some in the hills, but it's not too much by any means for your truck. I pulled a 30ft bumper pull enclosed trailer in stock form with 3.55's. That was a quite a while and too much money ago...
