Resurrection of a 1964 Custom Cab F100

Here's the low down. I bought this truck with my business partner to supplement our income (construction carpentry). Work is slow in the early months and we have a shop we tinker with our trucks. We're both planning on painting our own trucks and we need practice. Mine is a 1966 f250 352 down to the frame with a rebuilt 1976 front end. His is unmentionable (has a bowtie on it).
Anyway, we found the 64 on CL thinking it would be something else to practice on and make some needed extra income in the process. The PO said he had the 292 turning over by jumping the starter solenoid with some needle nose pliers but there was a problem with the ignition switch and had a new one on hand. The ole slick was straight and solid and we cut a deal with him. Not the best deal but not a bad deal as long as we can get her running.
We trailered her to the shop and got started right away. MAJOR MISTAKE!!! Neither of us checked the oil. I've bought numerous vehicles and don't think I've ever done that before. IT LOOKED LIKE LOTION. I guess we both assumed the other checked it.
Thats why I started a different thread a week or so ago 1964 240 engine swap. After draining 2 to 3 gal. Of water and milky oil out of the motor my expectations were very low for the 292 but the 240 out of my 66 with under 50k on it is sitting where it has for three years.

Here's what we've done so far.
Changed the oil twice running in between to clear the milky sludge out
Borrowed fuel pump 352
Borrowed carb 352
New ignition switch
Filled with coolant (no contamination after 2 hrs run time
Had the bent drive shaft rebuilt
New front wheel cylinders bled the system
Adjusted the valves .018
Cleaned mice stuff out (a lot of it)
Borrowed fuel tank (66)
Worked on the electrical some today more work needed though
Once it's road worthy we can focus on the cosmetic. I'm thinking about taking it back to its factory color scheme. Can anyone help decode that for me? Also the moulding is 75% complete. Missing the cowl pieces and one cab corner.

While working on the electrical yesterday the front passenger turn signal was weak while it was blinking . I took the lense cover off to inspect and as I was moving it around it started to work. I assume it just wasn't grounded properly. When the turn signal assembly is not in contact with the grill the signal does not work.
Is this how it's supposed to be?

You said it right! That's why I love Fords the way I do. My first was a 65 F250 I paid $460.00 for,ran and drove great. Never let me down,it was a basket case, black custom cab bed with a standard cab that was blood red with the original yellow coming through. Wish I would've kept her but her spirt lives on.
