Saw a couple trucks today

I met a guy who owns a 65 F250 Camper Special. It was his dads truck and has been in the family since new. It now has a 351W/C4, it was a bare bones work truck, no radio, ps, or pb. It now has all that plus ac.

I found the second truck about a 1/2 mile from the house. It looks like a 64 short bed. I couldn't tell much about it other than it has custom paint. Im going back by there tonight to see if anyone is home.

That makes numbers 14 and 15 that I have seen in the local area. I need to start carrying the camera.

14 or 15 slicks in your area? How big is your town? I've only seen 2 running around my place and then mine makes 3 that I know of

I was checking out craig'slist last week and found a '62 F350 flatbed for sale only 6 miles from me. Went and looked at it, and almost pulled the trigger on it.
Decided I'd rather put the money into power brakes and steering for my '61 F100.

There a 2 trucks within a 2 miles of my house I drive by frequently, both look like 65 fleet sides one a long bed and the other a customized short bed. The long bed was in a farm field with weeds growing through it, last year the owner pulled into the driveway and looks like he is doing a full restore on it. Was going to wait until my truck was done to knock on his door, but decided he might be a valuable resource.
