Was able to finish my eye exam yesterday that was started a week ago. I had a scratch running in the middle, north south in the cornea of my left eye. Had to use antibiotic drops for the last week to get it healed up. It is fine now, but for the last week I have been wearing glasses that have an outdated script so that is what has been causing the eye strain. New glasses are ordered and should be in by the end of next week. Due to the scratch and also that I now really need bi focals, I am switching from contacts to glasses.

No idea. The eye did not hurt and was not red.

Weird. Usually something like that, you know what you did. Welcome to the world of "Getting old and needing bifocals"!!! I wear contacts, but I just use readers. I have the damn things stationed all over, wherever I might need them. Oh, and I have safety glasses in the garage that are bifocal!!

I have been wearing contacts or glasses since Junior year in high school. When I had my last eye exam done a year and a half ago, my doc told me I could get by with readers for up close and my contacts for distance. But at work. I have the readers down on the end of my nose to be able to read up close then I look over the top to my monitors. Well it has been getting to be a pain so figured it was time to go to progressive lenses. The biggest part was the almost $600 wallet hit, but that also included a pair of prescription sunglasses.

Yeah, I've had glasses, and then contacts since I was a kid. I have what they call mono vision contacts, where my left eye is set for reading, and my right for distance. They've worked really well, up until the last 3 months or so. I might have to go to a straight prescription in both.

Oh and to make the weekend more interesting, dropped the truck off at the garage because of some odd noises coming from the left front. Found out it needs a new hub on the left side due to a bad bearing and the brakes are shot. I was expecting the brakes, not the hub. So that will get fixed tomorrow.

Evening peeps. Thanks for the nap, Neil.
Went and saw a guy today about taking a car or 2 to NC. He doesn't have much of a plan.... Got the lawn mowed, trailer unloaded and moved. Time to find some din-din.
