While I fully acknowledge that if it's "your truck", then "you" have the right to do whatever you want to it ... but as a Bullnose purist, there are times when I get teary-eyed and have to ask, "why, why, why..."

They ARE out there. A few years ago I was called to do some work on a garage door opener. It sat over a mid-70s Cherokee that looked like it had just rolled off the showroom floor. Very wealthy woman, invalid, and her trustee had called for the work. I got a look at the odo; it had less than 5,000 miles on it. They couldn't get it started, then couldn't get the garage door open (there were six of 'em, as I recall), and needed the opener worked on. I couldn't get a ladder in position, and wasn't about to risk dropping anything on that Jeep. I told them so, and left.
