Anyone using kill switches?

Hi guys,

I have a micro switch kill switch built into my turbo saver. The switch basically disables the ignition voltage.

Does anyone run any elaborate switches like RAVELCO or something similar?

thanks

I've had a Ravelco in my truck for several years. My truck has been broken into twice since I've had it. It's good peace of mind.....

Thanks for the reply. It seems like a legit system but I cannot believe the price on it.

I look at a revelco vs hidden switch like open carry vs concealed. Why show your hand to the dirt bag? On top of that, it is way over priced.

I am on a trip right now and the FICM relay goes with me when I park the truck.
Kill switch of sorts I guess.

Hi,

I'm just enjoying reading your comments. I remember in the 80's dad put a kill switch in his Explorer with parts from Radio Shack! It worked great. Good luck with all of your ideas.

Hey! I want one

Very current topic for me as the Wife and I were talking about getting the truck more theft-proof...

If I'm away from the truck an extended period of time I pocket the FICM relay.

Did not know that a S&W 45 had a relay. Yes I am being a smart ***.

The FICM relay is in the BJB. Have a look at this PDF. 4th page.

I have a 2006 f350. It's my toy hauler and looking for a kill switch idea. I had read in here (but can't find it now) of using a cigarette lighter as a kill tied into either NSS or something. Anyone have a full proof kill idea that doesn't involve fuel (my injectors don't like that)?

Please help, wire colors or diagrams appreciated

Thank you
Rob
