Looking at Toyo Open Country A/T II in 285/70R17 for my '13 F250. Any thoughts?

Toyo all-terain 2

I purchased the Toyo All-Terrain 2's last summer. They are my 3 season tire. Didn't get the super aggressive of the 3 models since I wanted a bit of gas mileage and the ones I bought seemed pretty aggressive. Use them on road, no off road really and I am happy with them. Supposed to get superior kms out of them. A bit pricey but a good tire.

I am very happy with the Toyo OC AT II's. Mine are in 295/70R18.

I run the AT II's as well (stock 265/70/17) on my 12' F-250. One of the best tires around.

Only problem is right now, several sizes are on "indefinite backorder." I can't find them anywhere.

I went with the Nitto terra grappler G2 because the Toyos ATII tires weren't available in any of the sizes I wanted. I ended up with the 295/70R18 as they were available locally. I wanted the 285/75R18 but they were no place to be found. Good luck.

I been running Toyo's for past 8 yrs all of which were the MTs and last month decided to go with the ATII (stock 275/65R20) since I now tow more vs off-road. The ATII is deafening quiet compared to the MT's and so far been very happy with them.

I haven't experienced the regular LT tread but I do have the Extreme AT II. It is def not as loud as my Nitto Trail MTs were. The tread block is more open for a more aggressive look and better off road traction.

I have about 1000 miles on a set of Toyo Open Country A/T II LT295/65R20 OP CTRY A/T II BLK E XT on my stock rims, and they have been awesome. the Toyo's replaced the stock Michelin's, really didn't care for the wet or off road performance of the michelin's. Gained an inch in height and width, they look great on the truck, and off road performance is much better.

I paid close attention to tire noise when going to get the Toyo's mounted, they are louder than the michelin's, but only nominally. Not enough noise to bother me in the least. So far very happy with the choice. Now I need to do something about the 18" spare.

I purchased new ATII's three weeks ago and they have been great so far. I'm coming from a set of General's so these new ATII's are so much quieter. They work well in the rain and seem to handle well in the dirt. I have not really taken it off road yet other than down a few miles of dirt road. I purchased the 35 x 12.50 x 18.

Twice I've gotten nails in my tires and both times the tire held until the dealer could fix or replace them. Last one held while pulling a 13k fifth wheel. I've done limited off-road with them and so far they've been great tires.
