96 F150 4.9 Will not start when hot?

I have a 96 F150 6 cyl 4.9 Auto trans. Owned it for a few years, use it sparingly for a work truck. Recently it will not start after getting hot. Runs fine warming up. Turns over fine, good batt and starter but will not start? Any ideas?

My 96 5.0 did that when I got it. Turned out to be the ECT sensor. Easy fix.

I'm kinda going through that now with my truck. New ECT, IAC, newer plugs, wires, cap, rotor, cleaned throttle body, new O2 sensor, new fuel filter, new injectors.. It still has a heat soak issue. I'm gonna do pumps next and that should fix it. It just cranks a lot longer when warmed up.

I jst got done going through the same thing. On mine, it turned out to be the PIP sensor in the distributor itself. How did the spark test go?

Found my Problem! Thanks for the ideas guys!

Found the Problem. After everything pointed to the Fuel Pressure Regulator I changed it out. Still the same Problem. On YOUTUBE a guy had the same issue. The Temp control sensor. $20.00 at Autozone, starts and runs great now. I was about to change out the fuel pump! AHHHH!

What Temperature Control sensor are you referring to? There is no such animal on this vintage truck

The temps sensor was what I was referring to. ECT = Engine coolant temperature.
