Ok so along with the last question I asked I found one more problem that I need to fix and tomorrow I should be able to get it fixed once I get what I need just need to know for sure this will work.


Again the truck is a 1988 F150 4x4 302 C6 with E7TE heads (for now).


I noticed that the heads are universal (crossover tube can go on either side) and I noticed I put the side with what looks like a Heli coil on the back and the bare side on the front. Well I would rather not pull the heads again because then I need head bolts, gaskets, and more.

I need the heli coil like thing to install the accessory brackets (alternator and power steering bracket) so can I pick up a Heli coil and install it to use the accessory bracket?


The crossover tube was deleted anyways so it doesn't matter to me on it.

Yes, heads are reversible so all you need is a helicoil.

 

Thanks Paul. Tried repping you but still in rep jail. Hopefully will get all this fixed and will get the truck up and running by May.
