What was your First Car?

Was your first car barely able to get from point A-to-B?
Were you starting off in an exotic?
Or did you wake up in a new Bugatti?

1962 Pontiac Catalina. 4 dr. 389 cu. in. TWO barrel carb.
Automatic trans, known as "Slim Jim".
No air.

In High School, that was the car to have.

On Homecoming Day, the cheerleaders needed a ride to the starting point of our Homecoming Parade, from the school.

I had THIRTEEN cheerleaders in that old Ponti!!!!!!!
Legs EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!

(I fell in love 13 times, that day!)

Sounds like you had a little too much fun growing up with that '62 Pontiac.

1986 Ford Ranger two tone blue long bed 4x4. With a 2.9 V6 known for head and head gasket issues and one of the weakest auto trans Ford ever produced. Some how I managed to get one of the few good ones, as mine was dang near indestructible!

First car I ever bought with my own money--and first car ever too---was a lovely '61 Chevy station wagon, beautiful shade of light brown metallic paint.

While I always aspired to having "seat covers" much like to the two beautiful lasses shown above---or 13 or so assorted cheerleaders---I never achieved that to the hoped-for level. While a few delightful women did adorn the front and back seats on occasion I eventually had to upgrade to a van, just in case all those women showed up at the same time.

That too hasn't happened---yet!

Considering that mileage, must be over a million different stories in each ride. That's awesome brotha, which was your favorite of all 13 cars and 1 motorcycle?
