ok here the problems start. The truck is in Germany, I took today free day for tomorrow to pick it up. I just got an email 3pm that they need more time for customs and they need bill of sale for used parts on the bed. Those genius said on Monday everything will be ok for Thursday. Even Germans are not the way they used to be. The world is screwed all over the planet. This is going to be tough.

Sorry to hear that bud. Its getting closer though! You almost have it!

I saw both you and Justin have mentioned a MLS gasket, if you don't mind me asking what is going on with that? Is there a price on a group buy? Or are they just going to make a certain amount of gaskets and then just sell them?

I am exploring the way here to manufacture MLS head gaskets or some upgrade as we both think the ones that are curently available do not hold enough, once I get the tracing I start working on it, when I come up with something, Justin will be the guy to ask them for, they would be only made here in Czech Republic. But I am too ahead, but I do want it happen.

Yeah I saw that Justin was going to send you the trace. Thank you for taking the time to try to get these done! I really hope it works out! These would help the idi platform quite a bit.

Also, if you ever come to San Diego, CA, you are more than welcome to stay at my place.

Thank you sir. I will do my best to make it happen and contribute to Justinīs great work, he is absolutely great person, very skillful, enthusiastic. It was complete joy to meet him and talk about things for hours. I think I will be on another hunt for IDI once my is here, as my friend will want it for sure. His Land Rover Defender is crap compared to IDI.
I have very capable friends here, look at this, it is in english www.leharmilitaryvehicles.cz the MLS is piece of cake compared to what my friend does. The thing with MLS gaskets is the both surfaces has to be absolutely straight, I already talked to the company producing gaskets. They suggest other route, as they do not think MLS is that great, but it is still on further talks.. I need to deliver the tracings and they will make a trial gaskets, then we need someone to use them and drive it in extreme conditions, throw as much boost as they can to proof it. Anyway if they come true, Justin will distribute them, that is for sure.

Meanwhile I am sitting here as a duck and waiting for German side to move. Nerve wrecking.

Well, cards are on the table. Customs is 2000 Euro. I can not believe that. I am leaving tonight 1am to be there in Bremen at 8 in the morning and hopefully by evening be home celebrating with soda as I got raped by Germans. That brings the whole cost over 10000 dollars when registered. I foolishly draged myself into some money trouble I am going to narrow the next year. Bye bye upgrades.

One thing I was thinking about with the MLS gaskets is that most MLS diesel gaskets have a type of o-ring on them to help hold boost better. I wasn't sure if you or Justin thought about that. I'm sure you guys have but figured I would mention it just in case.

Ok,guys, truck is in front of my house. Started after sitting over two month like a new car on the first spin. It is a great truck. You don't notice the size of it unless you bring it to Europe. This thing is huge and I am happy I do not have crew cab, enough trouble with this one. Been awake for 48 hours, drove 1400 km,more later with pictures. The last,Jonathan packed everything amazingly, thought even on spare engine oil, imperial wrenches, napkins to clean hands if some dirty work along the travel. He is exceptional person, not to mention he gave lots of parts free. I do not know how to thank him,it would not have happened without him.
More later,need rest urgently.
